Main focus of Starlinger’s booth in Hall 16 has been PET treatment and the processing of rPET in innovative packaging solutions to underline the fact that PET is the only polymer which can be recycled into high-quality form for endless reuse. viscotec displayed - besides the visco- STAR 150 solid state polycondensation reactor for the iV increase and decontamination of PET - their brand new centerWINDER, suitable for single or multiple rolls, to ensure winding quality and flexibility without compromise with its fully automatic roll and shaft handling.

The centerWINDER upgrades your existing rigid film lines by providing super-accurate winding at highest automation level with an integrated roll wrapping mode for roll vendors. The highlight was a closed business of a viscoSHEET rPET sheet production line with Mexican recycling giant GREEN Mind during the exhibition. The line produces high-quality rPET sheet out of up to 100 % recycling material, which can also be used for food grade packaging. Virgin PET, PCR pellets and post industrial production waste can be processed directly. With this investment, GREEN Mind makes a step towards vertical integration and enters the packaging market.
