Customers can expect a soft feel, excellent resistance to fingerprints and reliable workmanship „Made in Germany“.

„In terms of surface finish, a completely new standard is being set here,“ explains Patrick Holz, Senior Product Manager Interior Living EMEA for Surface Solutions at Continental, about the special nature of this demanding application. “The PET sheet has to meet the high demands which manufacturers and customers place on a furniture surface. Our surfaces also have to pass our internal testing procedures, which exceed the requirements of existing standards. In this way, we carefully ensure that they meet even stricter standards.” The viscoSHEET line succeeds in meeting the highest quality standards.

Decorative PET 1D, 2D and 3D films are the alternatives to conventional vinyl furniture films. The manufacturer Continental also relies on recycled PET. Lars Gestring, Head of Market Business Unit Interior Living ASEA for Surface Solutions at Continental points out: „With skai® PET PureLux, we are consistently pursuing the path of sustainability and working closely with experts in PET recycling. Here, we have already closed the loop and produce films with rPET. With our skai® rPET PureLux we offer the market a product with 100% rPET related to the polymer content.“
