viscotec‘s engineering department has been a crucial part from the very beginning. In 2006, Harald Höller, now leader of this department, became the first employee, responsible for the mechanical design. During the following years, the department grew further and covers now also control engineering and technical documentation with currently 11 employees. The main target is to draft and design equipment which our customers can employ efficiently to ensure production of high quality products.

ALL THREE AREAS HAVE ONE COMMON GOAL: beside producing machinery on an optimal level, cost efficiency, safety, accident prevention and customer proximity are the most important objectives.

The mechanical design is responsible for the basic development of new machines and processes, concept development, component calculation, and preparation of necessary documents for building the machinery.

The control engineering, consisting of electrical design and software programming, is another important section by providing the interface between human and machine. The aim is to make our machinery easy to operate while ensuring 100% process traceability. Our data logging solution has been proved to be an essential tool for our customers’ process optimization.

The technical documentation generates manuals, instructions, and spare parts lists to support our customers during their daily business.
